And then there were five…new mum Bey is our woman crush wednesday…

The most publicly anticipated births of 2017 have finally taken place – Beyonce has had her twins.  It seems like only yesterday Beyonce announced her pregnancy with a headline grabbing maternity photoshoot.  The multiple Grammy Award winner is apparently worth a cool $350 million, which gains her a coveted spot in Forbes’ “America’s Richest Self-Made women” list.

The chart-topping songstress will be on a hiatus for a while so get your fix while you can so therefore she’s our Woman Crush Wednesday.  With the two newest additions to her family, fans will no doubt be counting down the months (or years) until she starts work on a follow-up to her groundbreaking visual album Lemonade

Why we love her

Beyonce met gala

Least likely to…give up her onstage persona Sasha Fierce.  She says, “Who I am on stage is very, very different to who I am in real life. But I don’t see that having a sexy image when you are on stage means that you don’t love God. No one knows what I’m really like from that. I like to walk around with bare feet and I don’t like to comb my hair. I’m always so glammed up and so diva on stage and that’s what they see. People don’t understand that… No one knows my personal relationship with God and it’s not up to me to prove that to anyone.

Impress her with…kindness.  She says, “If you live your life with kindness and give other people great energy, that beauty and great energy come back to you.”

Beyonce twins

Mention…Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The ‘Drunk in Love’ singer is reportedly a hug fan of the Indian actress.

And another thing…as a youngster Beyonce was a tomboy and refused to wear dresses.
