Overview

  • Pros:

    Neat and easy to use
No other bits needs such as chargers or batteries making it super portable
Hard wearing and looks like it will last a long time
The enclosed lotion has the right ingredients to tackle swelling and inflammation

  • Cons:

The tube of lotion is not very large
Boring packaging that is like a TV offer advertisement which is off putting
I would have liked a more interesting and less sports like colour

  • Conclusion:

This is a nifty bit of kit that everyone should have in their arsenal. As there is nothing to go off or run down you can have it on hand for the occasions you need it without worrying about time frames.

We say: This is a nifty bit of kit that everyone should have in their arsenal. As there is nothing to go off or run down you can have it on hand for the occasions you need it without worrying about time frames.

I am very keen on this bit of beauty kit. It claims to reduce heel and arch pain by rolling it under your foot. Then you follow up by some rigorous massage with the lotion that is included. Menthol and peppermint are well known heroes of the anti-inflammatory world of pain and they are here in spades. The aroma is quite uplifting as well so if you are feeling fed up with your aching feet it may very well lift your mood at the same time!

The underneath of the foot is made up of seemingly dozens of layers or muscles, ligaments and tendons that can all become tight and seized up bringing pain and soreness to the area. Plantar Fasciitis is a well known condition that can be horrid and along with the exercises recommended by your podiatrist this little roller would be a good add on.

Obviously as the roller is made of a hard plastic like material this is going to be a bit painful to start with until your feet get used to it. It is way better than the other stand by of rolling your foot over a tennis ball which is simply not the right shape for the job. A bit of interesting trivia here is that the Playboy Bunnies of the 50’s and 60’s used to roll their aching feet over coca cola bottles straight from the fridge at the end of their shift of wearing ridiculous stilettos and bobbing about with a bunny tail on their behinds. Poor dears. thank god for women’s liberation…..This pedi roller is actually not too a dissimilar shape to those old fashioned glass bottles!

You can place this roller in the freezer for extra relief. The recommended programme is to use it for three minutes twice a day. Again this is easy to achieve as you can be sitting eating breakfast or taking an exam for all I know but sitting up straight and not slumping on the sofa is probably the best angle. I am only sorry that the packaging let my star ratings down. If you want to attract a younger crowd then you need better colours and images whatever you are selling.
