INFLUENCER SPOTLIGHT: Interview with Renia Jaz

Renia Jaz (more particularly known as @venswifestyle) is an over fifty fashion blogger and Instagrammer, with the most enviable wardrobe and must-steal looks.

From the short time that I have known Renia, I’ve watched her Instagram surge in following, over 17k to be precise. With outfits that are always polished, accessories colour coordinating in images that are portfolio worthy, I found out the secrets to her behind-the-scenes.

i the stylist: How would you describe your style?

Renia Jaz: “I think it’s a combination of classic with a modern twist and elements of current trends. I like to pair unique and extravagant clothes and accessories with classic essentials”.

How long does it take you to put an outfit together and shoot?

“I tend to create my outfits on the go so it doesn’t usually take me a lot of time. However, on some occasions the outfit that I’m creating needs a bit more oomph e.g. unique accessories or shoes. In a case like this it may take a bit more time. I try to shoot my outfits as soon as I come up with them (unless the weather is horrible)”.

What are your best photo editing tips?

“When it comes to editing my photos I use two different apps. Lightroom for my blog photos and VSCO for my instagram photos. My tip would be to familiarize yourself with those two apps, as they both can really make your photos pop out!

I always look for new apps, so currently I’m all about Kira kira!”

Where do you mostly buy your clothes?

“A lot of my clothes come from high street shops such as: ZARA, H&M, TopShop, Mango and Massimo Dutti. However, I also love to visit Farfetch, Matches Fashion, Net-a-Porter and Mytheresa when I’m searching for accessories, shoes, and bags”.

What do you think has made you successful at gaining a large following?

“I think being yourself, and showing people what you really love can be interesting and bring you a lot followers. Furthermore, posting regularly can be very helpful, and making sure that your feed is aesthetically attractive”.
