From painting children’s faces at parties to Kate Moss in the cover of Vogue and getting on the Business of Fashion 500 list, Isamaya Ffrench’s career is as unconventional as her style is diverse. Here is why you should follow the career of Makeup Artist extraordinaire Isamaya Ffrench.



Because her first big fashion job right off the bat was for i-D Magazine with Photographer Matthew Stone. In 2014 she was appointed their beauty editor.



She doesn’t follow the conventional. Whether she’s working with Katy Perry or Marilyn Manson.



Because in 2015 she was appointed beauty ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent.



And in 2016 she joined Tom Ford Beauty as Creative Artist Consultant.



Represented by Streeters for her makeup and creative direction. She’s also a part of the Theo Adams company, a creative collective for artists, singers, dancers, musicians and actors. She models. Oh, and she acts too.



And in her young live and career she’s worked with photographers like Nick Knight and David Sims. She did makeup on Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Bjork, among others. And she has editorials for Dazed, Vogue Italia, W Magazine and Love Magazine – among many more – under her belt.
