Man Crush Monday: Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth made the transition from Australian small screen to Hollywood big screen.  The 6’2″ actor joined the cast of  Home & Away in 2004 in the role of Kim Hyde and left in 2007.  After appearing as James T. Kirk’s father, George Kirk, in the opening scenes of J. J. Abrams’ film Star Trek in 2009 the Aussie hasn’t looked back.  Hemsworth met his wife, Spanish actress and model Elsa Pataky in 2010 and the pair were married within a year – the couple have three children…

Least likely to…perish in the wilderness.  Hemsworth grew up in an Aboriginal village called Bulman in the Australian outback.  Much of his childhood was spent ‘…building weapons, forts and things.’

Impress him with…your surfing skills.  Stereotypical but true!

Mention…motorbikes. The actor is a big fan and doesn’t like driving…

And another thing…apparently Hemsworth put on 20 lbs of muscle to play demi God Thor…
