Man Crush Monday: Henry Cavill

Henry Cavill was once dubbed “…the unluckiest man in Hollywood”. He missed out to Daniel Craig as Bond; to Robert Pattison in Twilight and eventually Brandon Routh as Superman in the 2006 film Superman Returns. He became a regular fan favourite during his stint on The Tudors – largely due to the fact that his character regularly appeared naked – and now as the first British actor to play Superman – first in Man of Steel (2013) and then in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). Cavill returns as Superman in three more projects this year including the two highly anticipated Justice League movies.  There’s really little explanation as to why he is our Man Crush Monday…

Least likely to…turn down a computer game. Cavill regularly plays online with his brothers, amongst others, and is a big fan of the role-play game World of Warcraft. On one occasion he was so engrossed in the game that he even missed a call from Zack Snyder telling him that he had won the role of Superman…
