Man Crush Monday: Josh Dallas

Fans of fairy-tale inspired TV series Once Upon A Time may no doubt have balked at the  recent announcement of the departure of a handful of the shows stars. One of these is Josh Dallas, our Man Crush Monday this week, who has played the role of Prince Charming for the six seasons that the show has been on the air. Once Upon A Time has been Dallas’ biggest TV role to date. Prior to this he cut his teeth in minor roles in Doctor Who, Hawaii Five-O and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation before landing his big break as Fandral in 2011 Marvel blockbuster Thor

Least likely to…return to social media. Last year Dallas disappeared from Twitter but no official explanation has ever been given.  Unconfirmed rumours surfaced that he had been the victim of online harassment…

Impress him with…brains and wit. With regards to his ideal woman he says, “I look for fun and smarts – a witty, strong sexy woman…”

Mention…UK theatre.  Whilst at high school in the US, Dallas received a full scholarship to study at north London’s prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. After graduating he performed with a number of prestigious British theatre companies including the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal National Theatre, The English National Opera, The New Shakespeare Company and The Young Vic.

And another thing…Dallas’ real-life wife, Ginnifer Goodwin also plays his love interest, Snow White, in Once Upon A Time. She too won’t be returning next season…
