New Season, New Eye Look: Three Autumnal Eyeshadow Tutorials

September’s presence comes in the form of a warmer colour palette inspired by falling leaves and darker skies.  These details are now gracefully translated into rich browns, burnt oranges, and warm greys for our convenience. These hues are not only used to embolden our style choices but have energised our favourite beauty gurus on Youtube to show us how our makeup can also have an autumnal effect.

With countless cosmetic companies existing, an abundance of makeup palettes to choose from can sometimes be the overwhelming issue. Even though each palette comes with a different aesthetic, formula and mission we have the option to look towards the beauty professionals whom have deconstructed the palette and have created the final look for us. Below are full eye looks created by our favourite beauty artists using trending palettes that will assist you in the transition from glowing summer makeup to a breathtaking autumnal presence.

Jamie Genevieve

Scottish beauty blogger Jamie Genevieve uses Urban Decay’s newest release to create an unexpectedly glamorous combination of green glitter and soft plum shades. See how she perfects this look by following her easy to follow steps in her tutorial titled “Naked Heat Makeup Tutorial” on Youtube.

Youtube beauty superstar Nikkie Tutorials uses Huda Beauty’s latest eyeshadow palette, Desert Dusk that.  As the name suggests, this eyeshadow palette includes dreamy dusk tones and light sandy hues. For her interpretation of the palette, Nikkie creates a bold look with glitter in the crease that competes for attention with the burnt orange shade on her lid. Don’t get us wrong – the combination of both is what makes her a winner! Try it yourself with Nikkie as your guide by watching her tutorial titled “Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette: Review + Swatches” on Youtube.

Bella Fiori

Although this palette is over a year old it still fills all our autumnal colour desires.  The Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills is still our favourite seasonal choice. Australian beauty Bella Fiori has created not only one look with this palette, but three full looks that remind us of a purple tinted waterfall at sundown. The young talent uses nearly all the colours this palette has to offer to give us multiple choices on how to adorn our eyes.
