Top 5 Celeb Red Carpet Moments…Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh

Off-White is the brand of the moment! Creative Director Virgil Abloh is taking the fashion world by storm. With his luxury streetwear style aesthetics, Virgil Abloh designed a collection for Nike that people couldn’t stop talking about. Followers of the celebrity world may already know that Virgil Abloh was previously the mastermind behind several of Kanye West’s projects including the Yeezy brand.  In addition to this he also was the art director for Kanye West and Jay-Z 2012 collaborative album Watch The Throne.


In 2014 Abloh launched Off-White and has not looked back since.   His mission was to make streetwear clothing high fashion. And he did! His designs are now worn and loved by many celebrities. And, when he’s not dressing his celebrity friends in his threads, he’s DJing for them.  With his laid-back style and trademark diagonal stripes Abloh is a favourite of the youth culture.  Here are five of our favourite looks from the brand…

A denim skirt on the red carpet?! Why not? Virgil Abloh took streetwear onto the red carpet when the Chinese fashion model Liu Wen wore this modern gown to the 2017 Met Gala.


Yara Shahidi



We love the ruffles and check-board black and white pattern. Virgil Abloh used his signature style in this gown that Yara Shahidi wore to the 2017 People’s Choice Awards.


Michelle Monaghan



The Patriot’s Day actress wore a pleated Off-White gown to the 2016 CFDA Awards. The dress was from Off-White’s AW16 collection and the metallic pleats combined with the nude gown was a favourite of critics!


Nicole Kidman



The iconic actress wore this modern slip dress to the 2017 CMT Music Awards. Nicole Kidman looked very vamp and sexy in this lace slip dress ensemble.
