Another week has passed and with that a plethora of celebrity red carpet hits and misses. This week we have looks from the premiere of The Danish Girl, The British Fashion Awards, The ARIA Awards, The Mercury Music Prize, Diddy’s birthday party and the #Horror premiere.
Heard is fast becoming one of our favorite celebs on the style front. The actress made a statement in a fitted trouser suit for the premiere of The Danish Girl which she stars in alongside Eddie Redmayne. Our one gripe – her lopsided top knot could have done with some tlc but that’s just us nitpicking.
Before Alexa Chung crashed onto the scene Chloe Sevigny was the queen of cool and reigned as a fashion icon throughout the ’90s. She’s still got it though and her fearless approach to fashion is still evident in her red carpet choices (good and bad). Would this dress get a thumbs up on another celeb? Probably not, but Sevigny has the “coolness” to pull this look off to a tee.
Has Kourtney Kardashian been raiding Amber Rose’s wardrobe? We know that since her split from Scott Disick the oldst Kardashian sibling has been keen to sex up her image and revamp her wardrobe but this catsuit is not the way to do it. Kardashian may have wanted to fit in at Diddy’s birthday party but unless you have the long limbs of a supermodel or the assets of a Miami stripper then this look is a no-go.
Mollie King is a firm fixture on all the fashion related red carpets so we’re surprised that The Saturday’s singer rocked up for The British Fashion Awards in this beautiful but ultra revealing dress. We’re pretty sure the paps were lined up praying for a strong gust of wind because the split didn’t stop at her thigh and we could almost see her vajayjay. This is one case where less isn’t more, so it’s a miss for us.
Corinne Bailey Rae
Corinne Bailey Rae is back! Gone are the girly pastel dresses and short curly hair and here we have the singer looking mature and stylish in a Miu Miu dress and long, defined spiral curls. Bailey Rae was on the judgng panel for the Mercury Music Prize last week and we’re hoping that her new music will be as on point as her new look.
Where does one start? The boots? The gloves? The dresses? It’s all a mess. To be honest we’re atually lost for words and not much needs to be said really – we’re sure you’ll be in agreement with us that Sheppard should have left this look at home…seriously, we can’t get over the gloves…
