Indigo-herbs.co.uk

Pros:

  • The kit creates pure chocolate which has many health benefits
  • It stores well in the fridge or freezer
  • The ingredients to make the chocolate are all together in the pack
  • There is a step-by-step guide with recommendations
  • Vegan and organic

Cons:

  • The pack doesn’t contain chocolate molds and you would need something to set the chocolate in
  • The steps could be more specific with temperatures, storing etc
  • The instructions advise to use all the ingredients in one-go.

Overall:

This chocolate making kit is what dreams are made of for any chocoholics. It makes for a healthier option to ordinary chocolate and has the great benefit of being vegan. The taste is superb and a tiny amount can feed your sweet-tooth cravings. I would recommend as a treat due to the price.

We say:

There was something very therapeutic and relaxing in watching my chocolate form together. It is straightforward to make, however I wish that there was more advice and guidelines, such as how long to leave in the fridge.

Even with the 300g chocolate making kit, a large quantity is created. Had I known beforehand, I would have tried to save some of the packet to use on a different occasion.

While expensive, the  ingredients are high-quality and far superior to what you would buy at a supermarket.  I would not usually link chocolate to health benefits, however their chocolate recipe has many nutritional factors.

You can use the ingredients inside separately but making the chocolate is worthwhile. It’s incredibly delicious and best of all, guilt-free. The taste is more towards dark than milk chocolate. For a vegan like me, I can indulge without compromising.

Effectiveness:

If you’re looking for natural chocolate that’s vegan and appetising, you can’t go wrong with this. 5 stars

Packaging:

I am not the biggest fan of the packaging. It does state about the molds on their website, but I couldn’t see it on the back of the packet. I also didn’t like that the packaging is tailored as though you would use in one go. 3 stars

Value for money:

Instead of buying luxury chocolate, this would be a better choice. Taking into account the quality of ingredients sourced, I would say good value for money. 4 stars

Buy or bye?

Buy.
