They say:

Go ahead and indulge. This yummy coffee-scented bronzer in shade Mocha is deep and buildable, doubling as a contour powder. Latte adds a warm glow to your cheeks all year round. A single swipe leaves behind a sun-kissed glow and defines the face.

We say:

Having tried a lot of bronzers over the years, of every conceivable consistency and brand, with added shimmer and without; I have now been using the Winky Lux Coffee Bronzer for a couple of weeks in place of my regular Bare Minerals bronzer. I am 100% converted. For this review I trialled the Coffee Bronzer in Mocha. Open up the compact and you are instantly transported to your favourite coffee hotspot or steaming mug by sheer force of scent. What better way to start the day? For all you coffee-lovers out there – this bronzer is literally calling your name.

This is the brand’s first foray into bronzing, and it doesn’t disappoint. Whilst it could as a concept seem gimmicky, the product is unquestionably good. Non-patchy on application, entirely matt, smooth to the touch and it lasts the day. Whether you’re contouring, defining or seeking an all-over glow, I honestly can’t recommend this highly enough.

My skin is fair to medium, hence choosing the Mocha shade. For those paler skinned beauties, I’d suggest the Latte for a more natural look and for the darker skinned queens the jury is still out on this one. If you’ve tried this hit us up. We’d love to know how it worked for you.

Packaging:

The outer cardboard packaging is cutely feminine with pretty illustrations in rich colours of coffee cups and flowers. Inside, the shiny gold glitzy plastic compact is a little tricky to open. It contains a generous sized one-colour bronzer palette together with a useful mirror. It certainly has enough style to take out and about.

Effectiveness:

Works. 5 stars

Value for Money:

Good value at £16.00 for what is definitely a good enough product to hold its own amongst the cosmetic heavyweights.
