Throwback Fashion: Bridget Jones’ Diary

Throwback Fashion: Bridget Jones’ Diary

Who doesn’t love heading home for Christmas?  Being welcomed by delicious food and going to bed (slightly worse for wear) in your old bedroom? I can name one person – Ms Bridget Jones circa 2001.

It’s safe to say that we all cringed when her mum presented her with the unforgettable ensemble that featured half a floral carpet and a huge red collar.  And that’s mainly because a large majority of us can relate. Surprisingly, you can now wear something similar 16 years later and it’s actually on trend. Thank you, Bridget!

Having been in love with both fashion and writing since I can remember, being able to write now, and for online readers, is quite literally a dream come true. I like to think that my writing reflects me as a person and shows some of my personality whilst still informing you about what’s on trend and what I’m loving each season. Fashion will constantly fuel me with ideas and inspiration for my writing so if you like what you read, you have the catwalk to thank.
