Top 5 Celeb Red Carpet Moments With…Osman

Osman Yousefzada made his London Fashion Week debut in 2008 and has remained at the forefront of the British Fashion industry since. The Birmingham born son of Afghan migrants grew up helping his mother run her  dressmaking business. After completing an anthropology degree at SOAS, followed by his masters at Cambridge the call for fashion was too strong and Yousefzada enrolled at Central Saint Martins to study pattern making and drawing. After a stint designing at Joseph, New Look founder Tom Singh funded Yousefzada’s first catwalk show which resulted in Selfridges buying the collection, and he hasn’t looked back since. Celebrities fans include Thandie Newton, Anna Friel, Dannii Minogue and former Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s wife – Sarah Brown. Here are five of our favourite red carpet looks from the designer…

Rose Byrne

Actress Rose Byrne stunned in this beaded, halterneck dress with geometric cut-outs from the AW15 collection for the premiere of her film Spy.

Emily Blunt

The Girl on the Train star defied the summer showers in London back in 2015 for the premiere of her film The Edge of Tomorrow.  The strapless architectural midi dress is signature for Osman and came from his Resort 2015 collection.

Beyonce bucked tradition for the Grammys in 2013 and ditched the ball gown in favour of a monochrome jumpsuit from the designer’s SS13 collection. Anna Friel

Anna Friel channeled the 1920s for her appearance at the BAFTAs in 2015. The Marcella actress wore a beautiful shift dress with statement fringe detailing at the back from the brand’s SS15 collection.

Malin Ackerman

Malin Ackerman opted for a sexy white jumpsuit for an XLrator Media industry event back in 2013. The Billions actress wore a piece from the AW13 collection and kept the rest of the look simple giving the backless jumpsuit centre stage.
