Osman Yousefzada made his London Fashion Week debut in 2008 and has remained at the forefront of the British Fashion industry since. The Birmingham born son of Afghan migrants grew up helping his mother run her dressmaking business. After completing an anthropology degree at SOAS, followed by his masters at Cambridge the call for fashion was too strong and Yousefzada enrolled at Central Saint Martins to study pattern making and drawing. After a stint designing at Joseph, New Look founder Tom Singh funded Yousefzada’s first catwalk show which resulted in Selfridges buying the collection, and he hasn’t looked back since. Celebrities fans include Thandie Newton, Anna Friel, Dannii Minogue and former Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s wife – Sarah Brown. Here are five of our favourite red carpet looks from the designer…
Actress Rose Byrne stunned in this beaded, halterneck dress with geometric cut-outs from the AW15 collection for the premiere of her film Spy.
