Transformation Tuesday: Charlotte Crosby

Ex-Geordie Shore reality star Charlotte Crosby makes no apologies about her love for cosmetic procedures and since bursting onto the scene in 2011 as an original cast member of MTV’s Geordie Shore – the reality favourite has undergone a dramatic transformation.  Although her fans have recently expressed concerns about her obsession with lips fillers it is fair to say that her overall appearance (trout pout aside) has vastly improved since joining the popular MTV show as a 21-year-old.  Crosby, along with her castmates, was a lover of big hair, fake tan and booze, in copious amounts. Let’s take a trip down memory lane…

Check out Crosby in her promo picture for the first series of Geordie Shore – yes it’s clear she’s had professional styling and makeup services but she’s a far cry from the trendy clothes horse we know today.

Before the countless free clothes and makeup artist on tap Crosby had to dress herself for public appearances and here’s one example from an industry event in 2011…

The reality star clearly likes a red dress – here she is in another promo shot for the popular series. It’s 2012 and she could pass for any young student on a night out and she is still clearly not ready to let go of the orange fake tan hue…

It’s 2013 and whilst Geordie Shore is still a popular programme amongst the younger generation on MTV Crosby and her team were ready to introduce the reality TV regular to a wider audience which saw her compete in Celebrity Big Brother 12 which she won…her popularity was at an all time high although the same couldn’t necessarily be said for her dress sense…

Crosby was a household name after winning Celebrity Big Brother so the Geordie Shore star was keen to capitalise on her new-found fame by releasing a workout video – cue several paparazzi images of her looking overweight in a bikini…*rolls eyes*

Since the inception of Geordie Shore Crosby’s popularity has only grown with each new series. She’s ditched the orange tan for a more natural hue and  contouring and has a bevy of high street fashion labels at her beck and call. She’s even launched her own clothing collection with online fashion brand In The Style – she’s come a long way…

Finally here she is last month’s at the Brit Awards. Whilst a sheer leopard print dress might not be many people’s ideas of appropriate red carpet  attire the outfit sums up Charlotte ‘don’t give a toss’ attitude which has awarded her with a social media following of 8 million…
