Wearable Tech: Cuff

Early last year smartwear start-up Cuff collaborated with jewellery company Richline Group to launch their first collection of wearables specifically aimed at the style conscious fitness enthusiasts amongst us. The collection consists of 7 pieces (4 cuffs, 2 necklaces and 1 key chain).

The technology is a smart module which is then placed in your jewellery of choice.  The smart module or  single cuff, as it is refereed to currently retails at $29.00.   The jewellery ranges from $29.00 to $59.00. Alternatively you can choose from three packages – click here to view.

My favourite from the collection is the Selah which, sod’s law, is sold out.  It’s a chunky statement hinged cuff which I’d happily to my ever growing collection of bracelets.  Fingers crossed they’ll put some more into production.

Other highlights for me include The Lisa and The J (stylish key chain).

The Lisa

The device is compatible with  iPhone 4s, 5, 5s, 5c, 6, 6+ running iOS 7 and above and any Android device running Android version 4.3 or later.  Your device will also need to have support for Bluetooth Low Energy. Visit cuff.io to pre-order from the collection.
