Wearable Tech: ReVault

The Swedes can always be relied upon for their practical minimalism.  It’s a love affair us Brits can’t get enough of. So, chances are you’ll appreciate the ReVault.  Swedish inventor Elia Mörling is hoping to bring to market the first smartwatch with a wearable wireless storage that allows you to securely access and sync all your files across all your devices without an internet connection.

Having just had to buy a micro SD card to transfer contacts from my old phone to my new one I appreciate the function that a device such as the ReVault can provide in busy modern life.  Oh, and did I mention that it looks good too?  Classically the average person coordinates their watch with their outfit – now with the influx of smartwatches we’ll be coordinating our watch with our activity be it work, exercise or mood management.

ReVault connects to your devices via WiFi and Bluetooth and has function whereby you can auto-backup and auto-synchronize your files across your devices. ReVault is comptable with Android, iOS, Mac OS X, Linux and Windows and comes in the sizes of 32GB and 128GB.

ReVault are currently raising funds on INDIEGOGO with donations starting from $199.00. The project has 23 days left and has already surpassed it target of $65,000 with more than $69,000 raised. Want to donate to the cause?  Visit www.indiegogo.com.
