About
About this site
A new, independent fashion reference, launched in October 2026.
ithestylist.co.uk is a new, independent website launched in October 2026. It is not connected to the previous owner of this domain, and it is not affiliated with the former I The Stylist blog or with that blog’s author. Nobody from the earlier blog writes for this site, and this site does not speak for them.
What was here before
The domain previously hosted a UK fashion blog called I The Stylist. Public traces of it are limited. A 2016 Finish Line blog post on the revival of 1990s style, for example, credited a throwback photograph used in its slip-dress section to ithestylist.co.uk. Beyond that kind of passing reference, this site does not attempt to describe the earlier blog, reproduce its posts or use its images.
What this site covers
The site is a small, sourced fashion reference written in British English. It covers:
- style history, starting with the slip dress;
- style profiles of public figures, based on reputable press and encyclopaedia sources;
- menswear trends such as sports luxe;
- practical wardrobe and wellbeing topics, such as reusable period products, based on NHS and local-authority guidance;
- occasional short profiles of musicians, written from published reviews and interviews, never as invented interviews.
How it works
Every fact on the site comes from a page that was opened and checked, and every article ends with a list of those sources. The site does not invent quotes, people or experiences, and it does not publish photographs of the people it writes about. Health information is general and is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, pharmacist or the NHS.
There are no adverts, affiliate links, sponsored posts or tracking scripts, nothing is sold, and there is no contact form. Brand and designer names appear only as facts in context.
